6th Light of Internet Expo kicks off in Wuzhen
The 6th Light of Internet Expo kicked off on the morning of Oct. 18 in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province.
This year’s expo, which opens from Oct. 18 to 22, fully reflects the theme of the 6th World Internet Conference “Intelligent Interconnection for Openness and Cooperation: Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace.”
The expo focuses on the latest development trends and cutting-edge technologies of the internet in fields such as cloud computing, big data, AI, cyber security, industrial internet, e-commerce, future community, smart medical service, smart society, and digital cultural media.
It consists of six major exhibition zones, including the development concept zone, the comprehensive exhibition zone, the new product/technology release zone, and the matchmaking zone for rising stars in the digital economy.
Over 600 renowned internet enterprises and innovative companies from around the world including Alibaba, Tencent, Huawei, Kaspersky Lab, SAP, BMW displayed their new technologies, products and applications.
Gao Xingfu, vice governor of Zhejiang Province, said at the opening ceremony that during the expo, 117 new products and new technology launch activities will be held.
According to Gao, a series of industrial cooperation activities such as thematic matchmaking meetings and capital matchmaking meetings will also be organized to promote cooperation.
