Below is a summary of the three tracks:
Track A: CFO Personal Effectiveness: A Deputy CEO Mindset
The CFO is responsible for all aspects of a company’s performance – and as such wears the hat of the Chief Performance Officer as well as the Head of the Finance Function. This track will cover issues most pertinent to the CFO including, but not limited to, financial strategy, compensation and HR planning, evolving cost structure needs of the business, strategic IT issues, investor relations, Board reporting/preparedness, ROI of marketing.
Track B: Shaping the Function of Tomorrow
The finance function of the future will look very different from how it looks today and Finance leaders need to both define the vision in terms of people, processes, and structure and prepare their teams to make the shifts toward this future state. This track will cover a range of topics including, but not limited to, finance (and shared services), organizational structures, finance talent needs of the future, change management, use of RPA.
Track C: The Frontier of Data, Analytics & Technology
The greatest opportunity for Finance across the next few years is to reimagine the use of financial and non-financial data to help the business make better and more profitable decisions. This goal requires Finance to use technology more effectively, completely redesign how they structure their financial data and significantly improve their use of analytics. This track will cover a range of topics including, but not limited to, financial data structure and governance, use of technology, management reporting, metrics, and analytics.
