The electronic era in warranty documents

The amendments made in the Regulations of Warranty Certificate, After Sales Services, and User Manual were published in the Official Gazette of Turkey, today.

With the new regulation that allows the introduction and user manuals to be given to consumers electronically, information on how to access this manual will be provided on the product or its packaging. She added that the changes made to the regulations in question will come into effect as of January 1, 2021.

While evaluating the changes made, Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan stated that the warranty certificates and service slips, which are currently mandatory to be given to consumers as printed documents, are now enabled to be given to consumers electronically.
