Vodafone Group announced a new organisational structure, which it said is “designed to ensure a more efficient and effective delivery of its 2015 priorities”.
The primary change is that the company will unit its Northern & Central Europe and Southern Europe regions into a single entity under Philipp Humm, the current head of Northern & Central Europe.
In addition, its Turkish operating company will be reported as part of the Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific region, “given that country’s emerging markets characteristics”.
Paolo Bertoluzzo, currently head of Southern Europe, is to become chief commercial and operations officer. Heading an expanded Group Commercial function, this will cross “Brand, Consumer, Unified Communications, Terminals, Customer Operations and Partner Markets”.
Vittorio Colao, group chief executive, said: “These organisational changes will allow us to improve the customer experience and develop our commercial strategy more quickly and consistently.”
